Cancun as a Touristic Destination

Cancun as we know it, arises from a dream of visionary men as a touristic development plan of FONATUR in 1974, at that time it was practically a virgin region and since then, Mexican and foreign investors have bet on the growth of the destination turning it into one of the most important and modern cities in Latin America.

Today it is the most important destination in Mexico for international vacationers according to SECTUR.

All this is not a coincidence, Cancun has an endless natural beauty and much to offer to vacationers from all around the world.

1.- Beaches

Cancun is located in the Caribbean Sea, and its beaches has an enviable beauty, soft white sand formed by the corals of the Mesoamerican Reef, the sea water has a turquoise color that on the shore is lighter and becomes darker with the depth, the water is crystal clear so you can see at first sight the small fish that swim in the shallow waters.
